Pastor David Malina
Born in Stratford, Ontario, Pastor David has lived in different Ontario towns and cities: Moserville, Maynooth, Conestogo, Ottawa, Waterloo, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, before moving back to Kitchener in 1999. With an undergraduate degree in the areas of history and political science from the University of Ottawa, and a Masters of Divinity from Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, Pastor David has enjoyed parish ministry for many years. Pastor David makes a home in the Stanley Park area of Kitchener with his spouse Patricia and two children Sarah and Susannah.
Pastor Katherine Altenburg
Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Katherine studied sociology at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton campus. After one year into a Social Work degree, Katherine was called to the Waterloo Lutheran Seminary and there she completed her Master of Divinity. Ordained in January 2006, Katherine has two children and lives in downtown Kitchener and loves the variety and diversity of living in the centre core and being close to work.
